Alexis Erkert Bio

Alexis Erkert, Another Haiti is Possible Coordinator: Based in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Alexis Erkert has worked as an advocate alongside the Haitian social movement since 2008. Prior to working with Other Worlds, she coordinated the Haiti Peace and Justice Advocacy Program for the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC). Raised in West Africa, she has spent the majority of her life confronting issues of social, economic and environmental injustice. She loves that the flowers in her garden enjoy a year-round growing season in Haiti.
