Deepa Panchang's Bio

Deepa Panchang, Education and Outreach Coordinator: Since the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, Deepa has been involved in advocacy for human rights, particularly housing and health, for displaced Haitians living in camps. She has previously worked on community health projects in Nicaragua and India. Deepa's academic background is in public health and economics, and she is passionate about bringing gender and economic justice perspectives to bear in the realms of global health, aid, and trade.
