Fair Food Across Borders

Submitted by Other Worlds on Wed, 01/13/2010 - 14:17

Activists and media makers have been hard at work over the past year exploring all of the issues involved in how the food we eat makes it to our table. We'd like to highlight two great new projects exploring food justice issues:

Fair Food Across Borders

Paying the Price: Migrant Workers in the Toxic Fields of Sinaloa, is a great new documentary from the Chiapas Media Project which investigates the human rights abuses suffered by migrant laborers growing food in Mexico for the US market.

You can watch the whole film online at the Fair Foods Across Borders website.

Fair Food from Field to Table

Fair Food from Field to Table presents three short videos exploring how workers, farmers, and advocates are building just food systems here in the US.

Watch all three videos on the Fair Food Project website.
