Andy Lin Bio

Andy Lin, Coordinating Committee Member and Artistic Coordinator: Brought early on to an awareness of the world via his Taiwanese family, Andy is an activist and social change photographer. He has traveled in Asia, Latin America, and Europe, capturing stories with social relevance such as the aftermath of the Bhopal industrial disaster and the Zapatistas’ Other Campaign. He has won awards in annual photo contests in National Geographic Traveler and Hemispheres Magazine. Andy is also a musician and writer. A past board member of Resource Generation, Andy now serves on the board of Grantmakers without Borders. He is a founding member of Coup De (F)oudre Fotographie, a musician in the band Nozomi Phoenix, and a member of the i see love artists’ collaborative. Andy will also be producing the photos and co-producing the radio series for Other Worlds.
